Carpentersville Moose is a fraternal organization that can be traced back to the late 1800’s. In 1888, Dr. Henry Wilson successfully established the first Lodge in Louisville, Kentucky. In its early years, the Moose Lodge served the modest goal of offering men the opportunity to have social gatherings, care for one another’s needs, and celebrate life together. The Lodge has now grown to include service to communities, care for children and teens in need at Mooseheart Child City & School, and care for elderly Moose members at Moosehaven. This organization also donates to many different charities and they participate in community service by volunteering and running their own charitable events and fundraisers. The Moose organization contributes between $75 and $100 million to community service annually.
Carpentersville Moose Lodge, founded in 1961 as the 1958th lodge to open in the United States, offers many attractions for individual members and families. In addition to Fish Fry Fridays, the Lodge offers drink specials Tuesdays through Thursdays, and they serve quick snacks for hungry members. Dinner is served on Thursday nights, and lunches are served on Friday afternoons. There are also monthly (sometimes weekly) events for all Carpentersville Moose Lodge members. From Halloween parties to Breakfast with Santa, there are multiple family-friendly events that members and their children can attend.
As far as adult entertainment, be sure to try your luck on their video gaming machines. If you’re looking to host your own event, Carpentersville Moose Lodge is a great option. They rent out their hall at great prices, so you can save money on your next gathering.
