Elgin Moose Lodge has a rustic exterior with a large yard and patio. With a large and private wooded area and wildlife in their backyard, members of the Lodge enjoy being tucked away. The Elgin Moose Lodge offers a big screen TV, sports outings, video gaming, dinners, parties, fish fry’s, a juke box, dances, and karaoke.
In 1888, Dr. Henry Wilson successfully established the first Lodge in Louisville, Kentucky. In its early years, the Moose Lodge served the modest goal of offering men the opportunity to have social gatherings, care for one another’s needs, and celebrate life together. The Lodge has now grown to include service to communities, care for children and teens in need at Mooseheart Child City & School, and care for elderly Moose members at Moosehaven. This organization also donates to many different charities and they participate in community service by volunteering and running their own charitable events and fundraisers. The Moose organization contributes between $75 and $100 million to community service annually.
In order to visit the lounge, members must present their membership cards upon entering. Both men and women have been becoming members of the Moose for years and servicing their communities. The main goals of the Moose Lodge are supporting Mooseheart, and Illinois school and home for needy kids, and supporting Moosehaven, a Florida retirement home for senior citizens in need.
The Elgin Moose Lodge provides a place for members of this organization to call home. The interior of the building has a rustic decor and a cozy feel so that people can relax when they aren’t participating in philanthropic activities. The establishment offers live video gaming.
