The Cottage Tap, established in the 1950’s, is in a historic building that’s been standing tall since the 1920’s. New owners Wendy and Lou have been regulars at the bar for over 25 years, keeping the name “The Cottage Tap” because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! This longtime staple is loved by patrons because of its historic charm and vintage bar feel. Both Wendy and Lou work hard to maintain that feeling knowing it’s basically a second home to locals.
If you’re feeling hungry Cottage Tap offers frozen pizzas and soon, soft pretzels! A warm soft pretzel and a cold brew — is there a better duo? (Aside from Wendy and Lou, of course!) The ice-cold beer selection is their pride and joy, something guests can always rely on. They also have the favorite traditional bar games, including pool tables and darts, making them an hit spot for bags and pool tournaments. Plus, the spaciousness proves them a perfect venue for private parties and large, public benefits. When the weather is more favorable, their outside bar opens, and guests can kick back at their picnic tables or play a round of bags bags. Wendy and Lou also plan on upgrading their outdoor area just in time for spring and summer!
No matter what time of the year, you’re sure to find friends both old and new at The Cottage Tap!
